Canine Unit

Two Conservation Officers are assigned canine partners to assist them and the rest of the Division with field activities and enforcement.  Officers Todd Kanieski and Travis Muyres work and train with their furry partners.  The dogs live at home with the officers, and are available 24 hours a day to assist officers across the state.  The dogs are trained in criminal apprehension and fish & game detection, and are a wonderful officer safety tool for their human handlers.
